Hi there and welcome to Universal Fundamentals! My name is Goutam Gupta and, I am a Certified Master of Arts in Vedic Astrology as well as a Scholar of the Jaimini System from Joni Patry’s University of Vedic Astrology. I graduated from the University of Vedic Astrology in 2020 and since then, I have been mentoring students who aspire to learn Vedic Astrology. I am also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), licensed in the state of California. I graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. I started my career in Public Accounting and later transitioned into accounting and bookkeeping for small businesses.

My true purpose, however, lies in seeking the light within myself and helping others seek the light within themselves as well. In the summer of 2012, when I came to visit home from college, my father and I sat down one night and discussed my birth chart. From that night on, my interest in Vedic Astrology slowly but surely started increasing. I started watching YouTube videos so I can gain more knowledge about how this amazing science applies to all of our lives. When certain events transpired in my life as promised from my birth chart, I was astounded and started researching even more about Vedic Astrology. 

From 2017 onwards, several events occurred which transformed my career, purpose, and life for the better. In 2018, I had the opportunity of meeting two well-known Vedic Astrologers Joni Patry and Kapiel Raaj at the Sedona Vedic Astrology Conference. I had been following both Joni and Kapiel for a few years prior to meeting them. The minute we arrived in Sedona, the first two people I met were Joni and Kapiel which was the biggest omen I received.
